Keys and Alarm Systems

To allow access of our service providers to your home, you can entrust Cleaning CT with a key to your home and we exert ourselves and endeavor to protect the key

If you alarm system is simple to operate, you may give us instructions how to operate it. However, if your alarm system is complicated, you preferably leave your alarm off on the cleaning day.

Employees

As we do not want our employees to get any harm, they do not use more dangerous devices like ladders or move anything heavier than 35 lbs. Such devices and activities are dangerous both for our employees and for your apartment ( for example it could damage your floor). If you would like us to clean behind appliances like a fridge, oven or bed, please move it before cleaning to allow access to there.

Bleach

 If you want us to use bleach, which will be supplied by you, please be aware that we will not be responsible for any damage caused by the bleach.

Cancellation

2 business day writing notice is necessary in the case you have to cancel or change the date of your regular cleaning day. If Cleaning CT receives less than a 2 business day notice, or can't access your home, we will charge the full price of your cleaning. Future scheduled cleanings remain unchanged. It's important that you confirm all the changes. Recurrent service is priced at a discounted rate and if you cancel recurrent service after only one cleaning, our regular One-Time Cleaning charges apply.

Arrival notice

If you choose to wait for your provider to give them access into your home, please be aware that they can arrive within 4 hours, for example between 9 am and 1:00 pm or 11am and 3:00 pm- this may be caused by various cancellations, lockouts or customers adding services, etc. To save your time and make it more comfortable, leave a key at the Cleaning CT office.

Payments and refunds

Payments
Cleaning CT accepts the following forms of payment: cash or check.
Payment depends on the time of service.

You will have to pay a $10.00 non-payment fee if payment is not made on the cleaning day. A $25.00 fee is applied to all returned checks.

Refunds

We want our customers you to be fully satisfied with Cleaning Ct service, but since cleaning is quite subjective, we do not give refunds. Please see our 24-hour guarantee if you are not satisfied with your cleaning. There are no refunds for gift certificate purchases.

Tipping

We do not impose it or force you to give tips, but strongly encourage you to express your gratitude and gratification for well done work. Tips work wonders, but your appreciation can be also expressed by a note thanking for well done job.

Referral fee

By signing an agreement with Cleaning CT, you agree not to hire a present or past Cleaning CT staff member. If you do wish to employ such a staff member, our referral fee is $1,500.

This fee is due within 30 days of notification from Cleaning CT. If the fee is not paid, Cleaning CT reserves the right to pursue other methods of collection.
